Change of admission fee for Matsumoto castle

From 2020 January 1st the admission fee for National treasure Matsumoto castle (Honmaru Garden and the main keep Tenshukaku) and Matsumoto city museum change as follows:

Adult 700JPY (tax included)

Child 300JPY (tax included)

We offer a special discount ticket for 450JPY/adult for guests who stay at our hotel Iidaya. Please ask the front desk if you would like to buy the ticket.

It’s a great chance for you to celebrate the new year with local people at Matsumoto castle and Yohashira shrine. From January 1st to 3nd you can get inside the Honmaru garden of Matsumoto castle for free (10:00 – 15:30). Don’t forget to take some commemorative pictures with Ninjas, Princess and Alp chan.

You can also enjoy the free admission to The Matsumoto city museum in front of the castle and Matsumoto museum of art on January 3th.
